The Perfect Pumpkin Bar


I don't know about you but I could eat a whole pan of pumpkin bars by myself! These have to be one of my most favorite fall desserts! There are many recipes out there but this one has been in the family for over 30 plus years. Its the simplicity of this one using Bisquick pancake mix to save time and simplify. I hope you love it as much as we do over here!

In a mixing bowl combine:

2 cups sugar

1 -16 oz canned pumpkin

2 cups Bisquick

1/2 cup oil

4 eggs

2 tsp cinnamon

1 bag Mini Chocolate chips (tossed in a little flour in a separate bowl before adding so the chocolate chips don't all fall to the bottom)

Pour into a greased jelly roll pan and bake at 350 for 25 minutes.

Let cool and frost


Cream Cheese Frosting

8 oz softened cream cheese

1/2 cup softened butter

1 Tbsp milk

1 tsp vanilla

2 cups powdered sugar
